Fastener Tooling General Carbide has been supplying quality heading dies to the fastener market for 40 years. Quality preforms or semi-finished nibs are manufactured upon your request. We offer grades of carbide ranging in cobalt binder from 3% to 30%. General Carbide also offers a stocking program where we will manufacture parts and hold them on the shelf up to three months to meet your release schedules. Eleven grades of carbide are available with tantalum added for applications where galling may be an issue. Quick delivery is available on our standard grades from 13% to 25% cobalt.
