Terms and Conditions

Material must be in metal drums tightly sealed with lids. Drums to be strapped to sturdy pallets and secured in van to prevent tipping during shipment. Maximum gross weight is 5,000 lbs. per pallet. Each drum must be labeled with content.

Each shipment must include a packing list showing purchase order number, weight of each pallet, tare and total weight.

The material may contain no liquids, organics, or non-tungsten material in any form. Any such material will be cause for price adjustment or rejection and return at seller's expense.

For grinding sludge minimum tungsten content is 65%, minimum cobalt is 6%, moisture less than 5% (no standing fluid). Lesser amounts are cause for price adjustment or return at seller's expense. Maximum for other impurities: Cu 4%, Fe 10%, Ni 10%, V 0.3%, Cr 0.5%, Mo 0.2%, Pb 0.01%, Zn 0.1%, B 0.01%.

Price paid per pound for sludge is price for contained tungsten based on General Carbide analysis of dry sludge. General Carbide will provide a certificate of analysis at time of payment.

All materials must be certified as non-hazardous. The material cannot be radioactive.

Weight of all materials to be verified by General Carbide Corporation.
